Testimonials

The Thousandaire fundraising event raises a lot of money. Don't take our word for it just read the comments from satisfied clients below.

Sean Fitzgerald, Edenderry Boys N.S., Co. Offaly

Our recent staging of ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandaire’ will be talked about for a long time in Edenderry. On a social front it was a night of the most complete enjoyment. It was a thoroughly professional presentation by Pallas Marketing and could never have been achieved without Pallas expertise.

Our school had set out to mark the 50th anniversary of the school with an ambitious fundraising target of €30,000, which was meant to go some way towards the provision of interactive white boards in classrooms.

Having heard a lot about the efficiency and success of Pallas Marketing we contacted the company. Under the direction and advice of Pallas a hard working Parents’ Association and Finance committee set about the task of fundraising through sponsorship, patronage and ticket sales. Thanks to the brilliant support of parents, school staff, past pupils and community we surpassed our wildest expectations by raising €47,000.

We had a night to remember and the benefits to the school will be a monument into the future to one of the most successful fundraising ventures ever undertaken in this area. It is all the more remarkable in that despite a climate of economic gloom it became a success story far beyond our hopes.

We are forever grateful to all who set out and achieved so much on this great adventure.

Roseleen More, Creeslough N.S., Co. Donegal

Never at any stage did we think we would achieve what we did. Many many thanks to all at Pallas for helping and guiding us to such a successful night. Yes it was hard work and yes there were a few hairy moments!!! But the hard work was for a short period of time and boy was it worth it. The show itself was fantastic, run in such a professional manner. Our sponsors and advertisers were very impressed. We still have locals asking us to do it again as so many people missed it even though we had a audience of 600 people (you never know….). We are a small school with not many familes but the dedication and commitment of our fundraising committee was second to none. We raised a whopping €42,000. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pallas Marketing to anyone who is considering fundraising. You will get step by step guidance along the way from the team and they are always at the end of the phone to give help and advice.

Denise Lyons, Mount Anville Primary School, Dublin

It’s hard to put into words the success for our school of ‘Who wants to be a Thousandaire?’. Not just financially – we have raised €28K, but it was such a brilliant social night. No-one thought it would be so good. They are still talking about it. The show itself was fantastic and there was a great atmosphere – if a little too much audience participation!! I have had three phone calls from schools & a soccer club and given your number and the highest recommendations. From the Principal and our fundraising committee a huge thanks for being so funny, so nice & so great! Best wishes for your continued success, you deserve it.

John Brennan, Principal, Scoil Mochua, Oulart, Co. Wexford

On behalf of the Board of Scoil Mochua, I would like to sincerely thank you for a true memorable night on April 23 rd. We could, in no way, have realised a target of €52,000 were it not for your guidance, clarity and ‘can do’ attitude towards fundraising. Our school extension is nearing completion and thanks to Thousandaire we have plenty in reserve for all the anticipated extras.

Tim Cummins, Chairman Finance Committee, Russell Rovers GAA

Many thanks for making our recent 'Who wants to be a Thousandaire?' night a great success.  In these difficult times we achieved over €20,000 and we really appreciate the time, effort and advice we received from Pallas Marketing.

We were particularly impressed with the organisation on the night and many people commented on how well the night itself went from an entertainment point of view.  Equally, many of the sponsors commented favourably on the presentation of their advertisements on the big screens.  We hope to have a repeat performance in a few years and we wish you and your team every success for the future.

Joan Kelly, Fundraising Committee, Le Chéile ENTS, Drogheda

This year we were very pleased with our choice of 'Who wants to be a Thousandaire?' as our main fundraising event.  Not only did we raise in excess of our expectations but the show itself was a hugely successful social occasion and a fantastic night out.  The event was very professionally run by the team at Pallas Marketing and the feedback from the families in the school and from the local business community has been tremendous.  We started working on the fundraiser in January of this year when the recession was really biting and hosted the event in May.  So we believe raising funds of over €26,000 for the school was a great achievement in these times.  I would highly recommend 'Who wants to be a Thousandaire?' as a fundraising event

Audrey Barter, Kentstown N.S., Co. Meath

We can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us. It’s hard to believe that it was almost a year ago when we first considered running Thousandaire. It was hard work but it was very condensed into the 2 months so I would say to anyone else considering it to ‘just go for it!!” Our final total raised was €53,000.

Anne Gaffney, Rathcoffey School

Thank you so much for your help and hard work. The night itself was a great success and there was a huge turnout. Way more than I expected anyway! I have just finished doing the school accounts and the net profit was €39,000. I would have no hesitation recommending both Pallas Marketing and Thousandaire to anyone.

Derek Bambrick, Fingallians GAA, Dublin

You have left a great buzz in Fingallians and the feedback has been wonderful and you all presented a great package to us. It was such a successful night that we are deciding to do this again next year.

Earnan Roche, Mattock Rangers CLG, Collon, Co. Louth

Mattock Rangers CLG ran several fundraising projects over the last few years and without a doubt our "Who wants to be a thousandaire" event was not only the most profitable but it also provided a great nights entertainment for our community. It is an event that gets everyone involved both in organising and on the night of the show, our sponsors got some great advertising for their money also. From start to finish Pallas Marketing were at hand to help in a professional and friendly manner. Fundraising events can be difficult to organise but with a small local committee and Pallas Marketing a very sizeable cash profit can easily be achieved. I would have no hesitation in recommending this event as a method of increasing club funds and I cannot wait for our next "Who wants to be a thousandaire" event as it was run in the most professional manner - it’s more like a nationwide show than a fundraiser. We raised approx 45,000. Many thanks to all at Pallas marketing

Michael Nuding, Our Ladys Schools Ballinteer

We had a fantastic night and are only just coming back down to earth! Ballinteer will be talking about the show for years to come. Money wise, we exceeded all expections, cheques are still coming in but at this stage I can safely say that we have made a final profit of €35K. The 2 School Principals are over the moon. Many thanks to you and all the Pallas team for all your help and professionalism, it was a pleasure dealing with you, I would have no hesitation in recommending the show to any club or school. Thanks again and good luck in the future.

Nancy Gallager, Kickstart for Darren Campaign, Craughwell, Co. Galway

Our show raised in excess of €85,000. It was beyond our wildest dreams and was achieved in ten weeks. ‘Who wants to be a Thousandaire?’ is the best route any committee can take to raise this type of money and, without the professional assistance of Pallas Marketing, we could not have done it. We had incredible feedback from those who attended the show, you could touch the atmosphere on the night It was brilliant!

Noel Shannon, PRO, St. Breckans GAA Club, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare

Our first Thousandaire show was one of the most successful fundraising nights ever undertaken by St. Breckans GAA Club. We raised €40K. We repeated Thousandaire a second time and raised €68K.

Finian O’Connor, Ashbourne Community School, Co. Meath

Our first Thousandaire raised €45K so we booked the show again. We thought that it would be a struggle to match the first one but to our delighted surprise, we raised €60K.

Patsy Dineen, Carriganima N.S., Co.Cork

Our School made a profit of €38K not bad for a two teacher school with 19 pupils. I am happy to recommend ‘Who wants to be a Thousandaire?’ and Pallas Marketing.
